About the event

West’s presentation will spotlight tales of impassioned women seeking freedom from England. The story will weave through the 19th and 20th centuries when the labor movement faced intense legal and political hostility. West, former secretary/treasurer of Stagehands Union IATSE Local #6, will share milestones of outstanding women who have pushed through the labor movement.
