About the event
Missouri Professional Communicators (MPC) will present a panel of working communicators in its next program, “Mixed Messages: Uplifting Diversity in Communications,” at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026. Participants will be:
• Alvin A. Reid, city editor of the “St. Louis American,” which has been a voice in St. Louis’s African-American community since 1928
• Roxie Mullins, editor of “Faces” magazine, a publication by Metro Trans Umbrella Group
• Terry Bates, director of marketing and communications for the International Institute of St. Louis
• Jacqueline Duty — a Chilean-American author, editor and media executive — will be the panel’s moderator
