By Ruth E. Thaler-Carter, program chair
Do you have something to say about the state of the media, trends in communication and publishing, professional ethics, techniques for better writing, tools for editing or publishing, connecting history with press projects, finding freelance projects, or other aspects of being a press woman and professional communicator today?
If so, Missouri Professional Communicators (MPC), the host of “Gateway to Success,” the 2024 National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) conference, wants to hear from you.
Why speak at the conference? You’ll be featured in conference promotions and social media and will have the opportunity to sell or promote your books and other communications-related products.
The conference will be in St. Louis from June 20–22, 2024. The audience will include colleagues from around the country: print, broadcast, and online journalists; independent book authors; in-house public relations and public affairs officers; academics from college communications and journalism programs; freelancers; and more.
Proposals may be for either one-person presentations or panel sessions.
Although speakers will not be paid for presentations, travel, or accommodations, you will receive free access to the conference during the day of your presentation and may use the member rate for accommodations at the conference venue, the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.
The deadline for proposals is December 1, 2023. Click here to submit your proposal. If you have questions, contact Ruth Thaler-Carter at Ruth@writerruth.com.
We look forward to receiving dynamic proposals and hearing what you have to say about our profession.
